SUNDAY INSPIRATION

HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY!

Have you been inspired to organize your scrapbooking studio, area, or supplies?  Whether you have a room, corner, or keep your things in totes, it is difficult to keep everything organized.  I have been working on getting my scrapbook room put back together after getting a shelving unit and some new storage for my massive paper collection. It can be very overwhelming!  However, if you have the proper storage for your supplies, it is much easier.  We just got some new storage supplies in from Creative Options that will help you out.
There are two sizes of totes for your tools.
This is the small tote
and the large tote.
These totes are so versatile.  I have all of my embossing powders and Stampendous mica and color fragments in one tote and then have my Distress stains and new Viva paints in another.  Ann Laughlin uses one of these to carry her Tim Holtz distress inks.  There is a drawer underneath in which you can store your smaller items.
The clear bins on the left have small round containers inside in which you can store small items.
Did you pick up some of the Tim Holtz stamps that arrived at the store recently?  These tooled binders are decorative and useful at the same time.
Many of us have the larger mega mount that is perfect for the Cover-A-Card stamps.  If you like the design of the mega mount, but didn't want anything quite that large, this mini mount is perfect!
It will accommodate lots of stamps on it's 4" x 5" surface.

Come on down to the store and pick up some storage Options and "wrangle" all of your scrapbook supplies into order.

MARVELOUS MONDAY

Yesterday I shared with you a sketch that Trisha Hill created especially for all of us at Cat's.
Last week, Cat and Ray spent five hours in a class teaching them how to use Corel Draw.  Even though they were a little "cross-eyed" after the class, they learned a lot.  Today, I have the privilege of sharing with a sketch by Nanci that Cat drew using Corel Draw.
This is page one of the sketch.  Since most of us create two page layouts, Cat and Nanci are making two page sketches.
So, here is page two of the sketch.  Love the fact that this will accommodate four photos, one of which is a five by seven.  And look at the "wonky" photo mats....love that!

I can't wait to see more sketches by CatNanDo....they are a creative force to be reckoned with.  Add Ray and his new laser to the mix and there is almost no limit to what they will create!

Look at the adorable tags we made at our monthly tag class with Nanci yesterday.  See the plaid backgrounds?  Those were created using our distress inks and a brayer.  Although I wasn't very good at it, with practice I hope I can make plaids as pretty as these.  Even with the boo-boo's, I still love my tags.  Next month we are going to make Mother's Day and inspirational tags.  I hope you will join us on this fun and creative journey with Nanci as we learn new techniques each month.

I hope you have a marvelous Monday and are able to spend a little time creating today.
