After all of the wintery weather we have had, everyone is ready for spring! Spring collections are arriving daily at Cat's Creations Scrapbooks so everyone can stock up for all of those spring projects. Cat loves flowers and has a lot of flowers growing around her home. Her favorite flowers are sunflowers. Sunflowers are such a bright and cheery flower.

Cat's Creations Scrapbooks is located in Mineral Wells. It is about 45 minutes from downtown Ft. Worth. Take a scenic drive out of the traffic and through the country to our 3600 square feet of scrapbook deliciousness. We have everything you need whether you are a beginner, avid scrapper, over the top and out of the box scrapper, altered artist or mixed media mamma.
Cat's
offers classes from our extremely talented local artists who will take
you to a world that you never knew with ink and paper and
chipboard and all kind of crazy things found in the strangest spots.
Cat's has crops that are 12 hours long and free with a minimum purchase
of $15. The ladies asked for longer crops so we gave it to them. We are
here to make your scrapbooking experience the BEST!
Cat's
also has 5 retreats a year. We host these in a quiet country setting
where each cropper gets their own table, plenty of aisle space, an
adorable cottage for them and their roommate that is complete with
fridge, microwave, coffee pot, your own bed and your own bathroom. We
crop in a HUGE building that holds all of us and our hoards of bags,
products, and all the NEW product that we bring to you at the retreat.
That new product has not yet made it to the store so the retreaters get
first chance at it and they have lovingly dubbed it Elephant Dung
because they say I could put Elephant Dung out, tell them it is new and
they would buy it! Our next retreat is our National Scrapbook Day retreat May 1-4 and we can
still accommodate more ladies. This retreat is jam packed with classes and we have some guest designers coming to teach classes. There will be classes included with your fee as well as some add on classes. Plus Elvis will be giving us an encore performance and you don't want to miss that!

Laughter is always at the forefront at Cat's. Everyone gathers together,
whether at the store or at the retreat, and we are one big happy family
that laughs all the time. One of the ladies says, "It is funny until
someone gets hurt and then it is hysterical."
We
refuse to grow up and we will continue to have fun and not act our age
as long as we can.
I opened the store in 2004 wanting a place for ladies to hang out, learn
about scrapbooking and just have an all out great time. I wanted it to
be their Creative Escape where they could escape the real world into a
world of creativity and fun. The last 9 years have been the most
wonderful for me. I have made so many wonderful new friends and feel so
blessed to have them in my life. We have laughed together, cried
together in times of tragedy, pulled ourselves up and moved on when
times were tough while creating some outstanding projects along the way.
I am always amazed at the amount of super talent we have in this small
store in the middle of nowhere. The ladies always inspire me with their
creativity. I love showcasing the ladies work, scraplifting from them
and being inspired by them to create more projects for them.
