MEMORIES FROM BUILD A HOUSE CROP 2014

Once again we have wonderful items to be raffled off to raise money
to build house for the ladies in Kenya.
Everyone bought lots of tickets for chances on all of the wonderful items being raffled.
Ann took a moment to tell everyone about HEART and how the
women graduate from the program to earn their homes.
So many women cropping the day away.
We did a make and take.
Of course, there was yummy food - and even a cake!
We cropped some more.
Fireman Doyle stopped by to give Ann a check for 1/2 a house!
And of course, we had to take a group photo.
We have so much fun at this crop while
raising money for such a wonderful cause.

At last count.....
FOUR HOUSES
were built....and the crop wasn't over.

WHAT ARE YOU DOING JUNE 28TH?

June 28th the store will be filled with people
cropping and raising money to build houses in Kenya.
This is a picture of Ann Laughlin while on a mission trip to
Kenya with the ladies for whom we have raised money to build houses.
The houses are built to help get the ladies out of the slums
and into their own house.
This is Ann's daughter, Debbie Hornsby.
Debbie explains how the HEART program teaches the women
how to prevent the spread of AIDS as well as
teaching them a skill so that they can support their families.
The program is faith based and when the ladies graduate from the program
they are presented with their own house.
There will be a light lunch served.
There are still a few places left.
So join us for a crop you will never forget!
COST: $25,
more if you choose to give extra
(please make check out to HEART)
Pre-Reservation is required.

WHAT'S UP, PUSSYCAT?????

There are LOTS of fun things going on at Cat's during the remainder of May and into June.
The tag class that was scheduled for Saturday has been cancelled due to a conflict in Nancy's schedule and the fact that it is Mother's Day weekend.
Saturday, May 17th, is the third Saturday crop.
Gather your things and come join us for a fun-filled day of cropping fun!
This is a must-make project for ALL of those lake/beach photos.
It is a sailboat wall hanging with spots for lots of photos.
For $65 you can make this fun wall hanging on May 24th.
June 7th is our first Saturday crop.
Another day of cropping F.U.N.
June 14th will be another of Nanci's fabulous tag classes.
These just keep getting more and more popular.
June 28th will be our second annual "Build a House" crop.
We all loved the one last year and raised lots of money to build homes in Kenya for the women who complete the program.  You can read more about this project here.
I hope you can join us for a crop you will never forget.
