SUNDAY INSPIRATION FROM MORGAN

I think we have all been inspired by Morgan Hendershott's creations.  Morgan is working at the store this summer and is a graduate from Cat's Kids Camp.  Morgan attended Cat's Kids Camp from the very beginning and it is obvious she learned a LOT!

This fabulous layout is a sample layout Morgan made for the Fancy Pants Memories Captured collection.  Love the envelopes and the way she put the black borders at the bottom and so much more!

Morgan created this sample layout for the Wonderful Day collection from Fancy Pants.  The chevron patterned papers always intimidate me, but they don't intimidate Morgan!  She did a great job featuring the chevrons and mixing the other papers with them.

Cat likes to have pre-made layouts for sale for customers who love scrapbooks but don't have time to create layouts.  She is putting Morgan's talent to good use this summer and getting her to create some fantastic layouts to sell at the store.

I hope you have been inspired by all of these layouts that our talented Morgan created.  Goes to show that Kids Camp pays off!  I'm amazed at how quickly Morgan can create these layouts with so many fun features.  WOW!  Way to go, Morgan!

TUESDAY TEMPTATIONS

Our thoughts and prayers are with all those who were affected by the terrible tornado in Moore, Oklahoma last night.  So many lives were lost and there was so much devastation.

The June calendar is filling up with lots of fun projects that will tempt all scrapbookers!

Join us at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 8th, to make this adorable 8x8 album using Bazzill's Lucy's Crab Shack collection and the Bazzill Lickety Slip albums and refills designed by Joey Otlo from Bazzill. Joey offered these kits at the retreat and Cat purchased the remainder to bring to the store for those that were not at the retreat. This is a great album for all of those fun summer pics.  The cost is $30

After you finish your cute album, at 2:00 p.m., Nanci is teaching the June Technique Tag Class that we shared peeks of yesterday.  

School is almost out, so it is time to think of things to keep those kids busy during the summer.  Here is one solution:

Cat's will once again be hosting a 6 day crafty camp for all of those junior crafters out there. We have some awesome projects for them that even the moms will be jealous about!

DATES: June 12, 13, 19, 20, 26, & 27. Wednesdays & Thursdays.

TIME: 2-4 pm

INCLUDES: Basic Tool Kit (trimmer, scissors, adhesives, etc) These are the girls to keep. They must bring them to each class.
All Supplies for every project
Craft Apron

PROJECTS: Summer Mini-Album; Altered Frame for hanging photos or jewelry; Note board; Altered Box; Art Journal & Mini-Album

COST: $135

Space is limited so call early. Students must be old enough to stay the full two hours and work on projects or mom will need to stay. Some moms stay just to learn, LOL!

We hope that your junior crafter is able to join in on the fun this summer.  

June 22nd is the Hidden Hinge album class taught by Sandy Trefger.  You don't want to miss this one!

June 29th is the benefit crop to build a house in Kenya.  Ann is hosting this crop and will provide lunch.  The crop fee is $30, all of which will go towards the building of a house.  There will be items auctioned off as well, so get ready for a fun day of creating and helping build a house.  Supper will be on your own.
