MARVELOUS MONDAY

Check out these marvelous new daubers from Hero Arts that come in a rainbow of colors.  There are neon shades as well as your regular colors in these daubers.  What is the difference between these daubers and our Tim Holtz Distress daubers?  The tip of these daubers is much smaller and you use it to make a perfect circle of paint on your project.  Why is that important?
Because there are these stamps that are designed to work with the daubers.  You just use your dauber to color in those circles on these stamps.  Since the tip of the daubers is designed to coordinate with these stamps, you can fill the circle in just by pressing the tip onto your stamped piece of paper.  Easy peasie!!!  I love the modern Christmas tree on the smaller wooden stamp.  That would make some great Christmas cards!
There is also a coordinating die so that you can die cut your finished product!  There is black paper that looks great with the neon paints!  Plus, Hero Hues comes in a white ink that will stamp beautifully on that black paper.  Or, you can buy the chalkboard background stamp, stamp it with black ink, then use the white ink with an alphabet stamp for a chalkboard effect.  What will they think of next???!!

Come by the store and pick some of these up then get busy on those Christmas cards.  These daubers and stamps will make that job a quick one!

CHRISTMAS TIME IS NEAR

Christmas is only 3 days away...are you ready?  Cat's is having a big sale, so if you have a scrapbooker on your gift list you can save while picking up their presents.
40% off of your
entire purchase

through Saturday,
December 22, 2012
It is also a great time to stock up on essentials or pick up something you have been eyeing.  So be sure to make time to stop by the store and take advantage of these fantastic savings.

While you are at the store, take a minute to browse the 2013 Hero Arts Catalog.  Cat has some of the cling stamps from the new catalog in stock, ready for you to purchase.  In addition, she is taking orders from the new catalog so that you can be one of the first ones to own stamps from this release.

Have you checked out the upcoming events?  We are going to have a new club at the store for owners of Big Shots and/or Eclips.  The classes will alternate with it being a Big Shot class one month and an Eclips class the next.    Each student brings their own machine and we will all work together with new dies/embossing folders or cartridges. The cost of each class will vary depending on the item being used as it will be yours to take home. What a great way to build your personal library!  Classes will be the 4th Saturday of each month starting at 10am. Please pre-register 2 weeks prior so we have time to kit all projects. Our first class is in January with the Eclips. More info on cost & project TBA. You can check the full schedule for the EclipShotz Die Catz club on the website: www.catscreationsscrapbooks.com

Were you like me and had a blast creating tags during the 12 Tags of Christmas classes?  Join us each month as we continue our tag  creating adventure and make tags around themes other than Christmas all throughout the year. Each month we will create 3 (or more) tags using a variety of techniques and the latest and greatest from Tim Holtz. Get ready to have fun and CREATE with Nanci! Cost: $18 + supplies (to be listed the month prior). Please register for class at least 2 weeks ahead.

The store will be closed
Monday and Tuesday,
December 24th and 25th.
We will open at 10:00 a.m.
on December 26th.

CAT-TASTIC CATURDAY

And we are cropping the day away at the store.  I'm so excited that I'm going to get to spend the day cropping my heart out.
BONUS:  In addition to cropping, I will get to celebrate Hero Arts' 2013 Catalog release and order a "few" of my favorite stamps from their release.   Just from this photo, I see 3, maybe 4, stamps that I "need" (LOL).  Cat's is celebrating the catalog release this Saturday and next.  So, if you can't make it this Saturday, just come by next Saturday.     We will be showcasing the newest stamps to be released in January.  We have the cling stamps in & you can order from the catalogue any of the stamps you wish. You will get priority shipping!!!
Look what else is at the store:  Glassine Bags are here! They are in the following sizes: 2.75 x 4.25, 3.5 x 4.75, 3.75 x 6.25, 4.75 x 6.75 and 5.75 x 7.75. They can be embossed, inked, stained, stickled--you name it and you can do it!  I'll be sharing some pages tomorrow that Cat made where she used these for photo mats and tag holders.  The possibilies for these are endless....I do believe that some of these will need to come home with me....  Just think, you could decorate one of these on the inside of a card to hold a gift card.....wow, so much you could do.

Our hearts and prayers go out to everyone as we try to deal with the senseless shooting in Connecticut.  It makes us all feel a little less safe as we go though life.  So many families will be sad this holiday season.   Sending prayers for all.
