It's time for another week of prompts

in the Photo A Day challenge.

Lots of fun things for you to

photograph this year.

Cat is working on getting the kits put

together for May, so stay tuned so you

will know when to get your kit.

For those of you that have seen the news about damage

in downtown Mineral Wells from a storm last night.

The store didn't receive any damage, thankfully.

Lots of Mineral Wells residents (and surrounding communities)

received roof and tree damage.

I believe there were a couple of mobile homes destroyed

in the community near where I live.

I haven't heard reports of any injuries or deaths,

so we were very fortunate in that regards.

This seems to be an extremely 

stormy spring, so keep your eye on the radar

and stay safe!

EVERYDAY CIRCUS ALBUM FROM CATNANDO

Fancy Pants Designs has this wonderful collection that just begged for a special album. CatNanDo to the rescue! Nanci Holtsford & Cat have collaborated to bring you this adorable Circus Wagon in honor of our 10th Anniversary and our Circus Retreat to celebrate those 10 years.

 This will not be a class. It is a kit only. 

The instructions will be very detailed with full color pics and emailed 

to you upon purchase of the kit. The kit includes everything you need 

except for basic student supplies (tools, inks, adhesives).

 This is the cover of the album - looks like a car from the circus train!

Open your album to find all kinds of hidey holes for pictures.

More inside pages that have special hidden areas for lots of pictures.

What is a circus without a tent? 

Your album will have one complete with a mini-album inside.

  Don't let this little book fool you. 

 It holds 5 pics that are 3x5, 

12 pics that are 5x7 and 

30 pics that are 4x6. 

That is a total of 47 pics.

 That is enuf for any special event! (Well maybe.) 

Cat plans to use this for the retreat pics.

I'm not, but I really enjoy seeing everyone's photos 

for each day.  

I also enjoy seeing the folder albums that Cat is creating for

everyone to use for their photos.

 Even though it is only the eleventh, 

Cat has already completed the July folder album!

it will take her a while to get those instructions written!

APRIL PHOTO A DAY ALBUM

These are the June prompts for your photo a day challenge.

Have fun snapping those photos!!!

Introducing the April folder album for your photo a day pictures.

Cat used the "Sweet Routine" collection by Webster's Pages for this album.

She covered binder clips and made little "clip boards" for the photos.

This shows one of the "clip boards" with the binder clip up in the corner 

and a pocket to hold your photos.

Flip it over and you have a place to journal about the photos.

I can't wait to see what she dreams up for the May photos!

MARCH PHOTO A DAY ALBUM

Cat has been busy creating the March and April folder albums for the photo a day challenge.

Above is the March album, using the "Flourish" collection by Authentique.

 It has some pull out mini albums to hold the many photos.

And, the pull outs have pull outs!!!

This is what the inside of the album looks like when you open it.  

I just love all of the hidden places for the photos.

FINALLY FRIDAY and MEMORIAL DAY SALE

The Eclips class that was scheduled for Saturday has been cancelled due to a death in Kourtneigh's family.    It will be rescheduled for a later date.  Let's keep Kourtneigh and her family in our thoughts and prayers during this time of loss.  

Remember the sneak peek of the Graduation album that Cat was working on?  She has it completed and just look at the finished product:

This is the cover and it is covered in black velvet.  The UNM stands for University of New Mexico, where Cat's niece graduated from.

 There are two options available for this album:

1. We can do just the album with chipboard for $9 and you can decorate it yourself.
2. We can also do the album with precut pages (all black and white graduation theme) for $28 (front & back cover are velvet). You can then add your school colors in your selection of photo mats, ribbons, etc.

Cat is working on directions as well that will include the dimensions and directions for the 4 mini- inserts. On the last page of the album, Cat added a glassine bag to hold the invitation. Lots of great things to do with this album.   Just call the store at (940)327-0713 to place your order for this wonderful album.  I know I'm ordering one!
