SUNDAY INSPIRATION

We have had several photos of tissue box covers on the blog and facebook lately.  It is a project that I found on Splitcoast Stampers here and then taught it at the Big Girl's Color Club (Copic Markers).  Cat used it as a make and take for the Mom and Me event last Friday night.  This is such a fabulous decor item and gift and only takes two sheets of cardstock and one sheet of patterned paper.  Look at all of the variations!
This was the sample I made for the class.  I used some My Minds Eye paper and the giant Stampendous flower stamps.  Our technique focus was using the Glitz glitter with stamps and copics.  As we made our tissue boxes, we all got ideas about how we could make these using different lines of patterned paper and the embellishments of our choosing.
Valerie use some Authentique papers to make this cute version.

Look at the ones Emma made at the Mom and Me crop.  I love the idea of putting photos on it....fabulous gift for proud parents and grandparents.

Cat rocked the seasonal version...she has fall and Christmas covered!

Look at all of the lacy goodness that Sandy used on hers.  This is such a beautiful, feminine version of the tissue box cover.
I hope this inspires you to make some of these fun tissue box covers.  With all of the beautiful new products in the store, I'm sure you can find some that is perfect to make one of these tissue box covers.

See you at the store!

  2. Isn't it amazing how each box is totally different yet all used the same instructions. I love these. Mine is perfect for my sewing room! I like the holiday ones too so think I'll be whipping up a Halloween one and a Christmas one too!
