Today I want to share a beautiful layout that Nanci has created for the lighthouse at Cape Hatteras. She had an old photo of the lighthouse and then a current photo. This lighthouse had to be moved due to erosion so the photos show the lighthouse in two different locations.
This is a closeup of the lower right corner of the left hand page:
Love the burlap, tulle, and netting with the seashell and starfish laser cut embellsihments.
Close-up of the embossing powder/glitter in the corner.
Love the burlap and tulle behind the photo. See how the tulle is kind of ragged? She did that by just holding the heat gun on it and letting it melt a little. Her creativity never ceases to amaze me!
I hope this layout and all of the cool techniques Nanci used will inspire you to be adventurous when creating this week. It is always lots of fun to try out some new techniques. Get messy and have fun creating some fabulous projects! I look forward to seeing your masterpieces!

just fabulous! I do like the netting on the page and the burlap with tule! How did you think to use a heat gun to get that effect?! I wish some of that creativity would spill out on me!
