WOW, THE HOLIDAYS ARE UPON US!

It is almost Thanksgiving and before we know it, 

we will be untangling the Christmas lights and decking the halls!

Since this is such a busy time of year, we are going to suspend WOW Wednesday until the first of the year.

HOWEVER.....

When you get your Christmas cards made, take a photograph before you send them all out.  

Wednesday, January 1, 2014, we are going to have a special blog hop where we share the Christmas cards we made.  I can't wait to see them all!

Join us for some mini-classes, grab & go kits with instructions, more involved classes like banners & snowflakes, snack foods, prizes and lots of all out fun for the holidays.

This is a great way to get some Christmas gifts and decor made for the holidays.

You can sign up for classes as Cat gets them posted.

There will also be a Christmas Bazaar in the mall where you can shop for Christmas gifts as well.

TUESDAY TEMPTATIONS

Did you make the call yet?  

Cat has heard from San Angelo, San Antonio, Albuquerque, and local gals reserving their spot for the 2014 NSD Retreat.  If you haven't called, call now and make your $25 deposit to reserve your spot.

While you are on the phone, reserve your spot for the next crop.  Things always get crazy at crops.  Kelly was so proud of her new Cat's stylus pen that she found a way to attach it to her phone...the redneck way with a rubber band!  LOL!

One of the big decisions at a crop is where we are going to eat.  Dairy Mart won our vote on Saturday - love those home made hamburgers!

What time is it???   It is yogurt time!  This is a cropping tradition.  We love having a yogurt shop in the mall!

A $25 non-refundable deposit will hold your spot.

 $145 will be due to Mitchell Resort on March 3rd. 

The remaining $145 will be due to the store by April 7th. 

Each May Cat’s brings you the National Scrapbook Day Celebration that is out of this world. Our focus is Education, Food & Fun. We bring you a convention style setting in the country complete with cropping, designer classes, make & takes, piñatas and loads of inspiration.

In 2013 we went with the Flamingo Funnies theme and everyone had a blast finding flamingo clothes, jewelry, table decorations and just about everything. It was a hoot! Sooooo, 2014 will find us all in the jungle with our theme of “It’s A Jungle Out There”. Start planning your strategy ladies. We will have a prize for the best decorated table, the best dressed group and the most original individual.

Our 2014 NSD CatVention will start on Thursday May 1 at 1:00pm. We will go thru Sunday May 4 at 4pm. You can crop, take classes, take a nap, do the Make & Take Frenzy, shop the new goodies brought to the retreat just for you, play Putt Putt, play golf, eat, head into town for the PJ Raids, smack a piñata, laugh, scraplift—just whatever your little heart desires.

What does our NSD CatVention Include?

• Cabin for 2 (larger cabins for 3 are available)
• 9 delicious meals including Filet Mignon from The Mesquite Pit on Saturday night
• Goodie Bag for each person
• Make & Take Frenzy (3-4 M&T tables all different themes)
• 6 foot cropping table
• 2 designer classes
• Pinatas full of scrapbook product

All of this for just $315.00 per person. All you have to do is bring your favorite cropping tools, supplies and creativity!

Additional Designer Classes are also available for purchase. Prices vary based on product with average being $30-$45.

SUNDAY INSPIRATION

Are you ready for the holiday season?  It is just around the corner.  You can get a head start on scrapbooking your holiday photos by making this "Unfolding Christmas" album on Saturday, November 23.  There is room for 100 photos or more in this album, so you could put several years worth of photos in it.  Of course, if you take TONS of photos, you would have room for quite a few of them in this album.  The cost of this album is $65 and the class takes all day with some homework to complete at home.  The deadline for signing up for the class is Wednesday, November 20th, so that we have time to make everyone a kit.  The class must be prepaid to reserve your spot.

CAT-TASTIC CATURDAY

Are you ready for a cropping good time at the store today?

I know I am and can't wait to create the beautiful Graphic 45 box.

Reminisce has released some more of their mini collections again and they are in the store. 

Check out this adorable cat collection.

Here are a family collection and one with a family tree.  Plus, there is a celebrate life collection along with a medical (ouch!) collection.

There are also cruising, traveling, and fishing selections as well as a "Wanted" selection!

They have also released a couple of religious themed papers, baptism and confirmation, which will work nicely with the religious themed papers we already have in the store.

Are you hungry?  There is also a mini collection called Let's Eat.  Part of the travel collection is this Germany paper.

England and Italy join the Germany collection for all of your travelers.  Plus there are transportation themed train and airplane collections.

Cute school paper and stickers to use for those school pictures.  Then there are some masculine collections:  man cave great outdoors, and hunting.

There's a great running mini collection for all of you runners!  If you have a ballerina in your family, there is a really nice ballet mini collection.  When you go on spring break, there is now a mini collection for your photos.  All of those farm photos will look great on the farm mini collection.

When you celebrate the New Year, we have some fabulous 2014 paper.  There is some great magical castle paper for your Disney castle photos.  Pictures of some barbecues will look great on this flame paper.  All of those photos of your dancers can be scrapbooked on the dancing mini collection.

Reminisce really fills in some gaps with these mini collections.  Come pick up the ones that you have been needing!

FINALLY FRIDAY

It's Friday and time to get CRAZY!

But, not EVERYONE waits until the weekend to get crazy.  Croppers were at the store yesterday and having a blast.

Put Ann, Denise, and Teresa together...mix with some Dylusions sprays....you get all kinds of trouble!  You can tell by the look on their faces that they know Cat caught them on film!

Looking for your creativity???   Look under the table...maybe it's there!  LOL!  Janet Armstrong was scrapbooking her grandson's photos and ended up under the table.  Of course, Cat had to take a photo!

Love that pink wood plank paper!  Beautiful textured paper from Authentique as always.

Carta Bella's "Homemade with Love" is sure to be a HUGE hit with its retro cooking images.  It will be perfect for those gift cookbooks for the holidays as well as photos of the holiday meals.  I had to pick up some of this wonderful collection for photos of my mother cooking in the kitchen.

Love all of the retro images on this collection.  

Echo Park released a mini collection called "I Love Candy" that is very versatile.  You could use it for photos of your favorite Halloween or Christmas candies or even Valentine candies.

All of those yummy images make you hungry, don't they!

Another mini collection from Echo Park is "Let it Snow", featuring teals and greys.

Echo Park's "Keepin' Cozy" is full of winter images.  There is even a page full of cardinals in this collection.  The colors of this collection coordinate with the "Let It Snow" mini collection if you need lots of beautiful snow paper.  With the weather already turning cold, we may need lots of paper to scrapbook snow pictures with this year!
