Ann Busenbarrick Laughlin and her daughter
Debbie McDaniel Hornsby are headed to Kenya.
They will get to meet the
ladies that were the beneficiaries of the houses we were able to
purchase through our fundraising efforts.
Everyone enjoyed the build a house crop that we had at the store and we were able to raise enough money to build several houses.
The store was packed with women who were excited to be a part of such a wonderful cause.
Ann was overwhelmed by everyone's generosity.
She sent this message to Cat as she was getting ready to embark on her journey to Kenya:
"Heading to Kenya in the morning! Can't wait to see these wonderful
ladies! Thanks to everyone that has helped buy houses for the graduates
of Heart! Special thanks go to The Go Far group of Lipan and the
special ladies at Cats Creations Scrapbook Store in Mineral Wells!"

The day we spent raising money to build houses occupies a special place in my heart.
We look forward to hearing stories from Ann and Debbie about their trip and hope to have another fundraiser to build more houses.
