Today, we are featuring the very talented Pam Conover. I asked Pam to send me a paragraph about herself:
"I started scrapbooking about 14 years ago after my daughter was born. I quickly branched out into stamping, cardmaking, and other paper crafts. Besides scrapbooking family photos, my favorite thing to do is make mini albums and altered projects to give as gifts. I love the camaraderie that you instantly have with other scrapbookers and have met some wonderful friends through this hobby. Last winter on a total whim, I submitted an altered Frappuccino bottle/carrier set in a Michaels craft competition. I was thrilled when I was chosen as a contestant on their web-based series Craft Masters. It was exciting, but really nerve racking! We had no idea what we would be making until we opened our mystery box (keep in mind there were cameras recording everything!) So not only did we have to be creative on demand, we had to appear personable while we were doing it! Once I got into "craft mode", I had a blast. I didn't win the competition because I didn't "think outside the box", but I was so proud of the fact that I stepped outside my comfort zone and did something I never thought I would do! "
This is a picture of Pam with her "Craft Masters". We are so proud of Pam for being chosen for this competion. It was quite an honor!
Look at these cute, summery shaped cards. That margarita one is just TOO cute with its unbrella and lime slice.
Love this dog mini album and frame. Such a cute puppy as well!
THis is a beautiful two page layout that Pam created. She did an amazing job.
I hope you have enjoyed meeting Pam and learning about her. It is always fun to meet fellow scrapbookers and learn about them.
I hope your weekend plans include some time for creating and some time to come by the store and stock up on Creative Options merchandise at 35% off. In addition to the 35% discount, if you spend $50 after the discount, you qualify for a free gift. Don't forget about the sale bins...they are still out and it's a great time to save 50% on some wonderful products.

SEE YOU AT THE STORE!
I love MIss Pam!! She is so very sweet and so talented. I did not know she had been on the Michael's show. I get their email about that all the time. Now I will pay attention in case some other fellow Catscrapper is on there.
ReplyDeleteAlso, YES, Michelle and I did raid the Options totes. I have bought these for several years and really love them. I love the cheery colors and they are actually usable with good design for storage and TOTING THEM TO THE NEXT RETREAT!!!! See you there!
YAY! My bestie is featured on Cat's blog this week! Pam really did step outside her own personal box to do that Michaels Challenge - I was really proud of her. Hey, did I ever see those shaped cards? Too cute! How did you make those?!
ReplyDeleteHa, ha. How could Pam not be personable while crafting with a camera on her? She's personable all the time except when Allison frustrates her. LOL. Great feature on a fun fellow crafter. Love Pam's mini albums and layouts and cards. Those shaped cards are adorable!
