CAT'S SKETCH FEVER

Cat has created another fun sketch for us this week:

What a great sketch this is!
LOVE the kite and tilted photo on the left!
Can't get this one in the center, but it is still fabulous!
LOVE the "sparkler" embellishment--so many possibilities to
use with this one!
FUN!!!!

So have loads of fun with the sketches this week.
Share your creations with us on Facebook!

WINDOW ART

It's just an old window....
but look at what it can become!
Sharon created this gorgeous window filled
with beautiful pictures from Rockport and
Port Aransas.

Teresa created this eclectic window full
of positive quotes and images.
It is so colorful, fun, and so Teresa!
Terri created this beautiful window that
features her son's journey to Eagle Scout.
Just an amazing tribute to his hard work!

These are just three of the amazing windows created
during the "midnight madness" window class.
Some were finished and others will
be finished later.
We can't wait to see all of the amazing creations!

IT WAS A WILD, WILD, FABULOUS WEEKEND!

The theme was Wild West and some
even dressed up their scrapbook carts!
Some things just don't need any explanation!
Jodi and Jared from Fancy Pants Designs
enjoyed the Wild West theme!
One group wore these adorable fringed vests!
Sally Lynn McDonald fit right in with her
cowboy hat and denim jacket.
Teresa and Kelly were really tickled about something!
Lance had everyone's undivided attention

(ok...maybe not everyone's)
during the envelope album class.
We fell in love with Lance's wife, Tasha, and
hope she can come with him every time!
Elvis was a blast as always!
Thanks, Kevin and Doris, for
treating us to Elvis again!

The window class with Lance was a blast.
It was so much fun to see everyone's unique and fabulous windows!
Sally Lynn taught everyone how to make a really cool necklace!

Sally Lynn had to get her picture with
Karen and Kathy in their adorable
cow print aprons.
Sweet Kathy kept us fed and
made LOTS of coffee and tea for us
throughout the weekend.
Another fabulous NSD weekend.
363 days until next time....
counting the days!

Here's our beautiful list of prompts for
Week 19.
This is what Chantelle (fatmumslim) had
to say about this week
and what you can get from joining this challenge.
"Here’s to a fun week of photo-taking,
and may the act of stopping to take a photo each day."
change the way you see the world.

THERE'S A NEW SHERIFF IN TOWN

Karen had her sheriff look going on with that mustache!  Gotta love the matching cow print aprons Karen and Kathy wore today!
During Lance's envelope class, Vickie and
Karen became confused and thought that he said we were making crowns.  LOL!
The dancing shoes came out when Elvis arrived tonight!
Elvis looked nice in his blue sparkling suit and pink scarf, but sounded even better.
The air guitar girls are always a hit!
Elvis serenaded Patrice and
Danced with her.

The night is still young, so who knows what else will happen!

IT WAS A FRENZY!!

The make and take frenzy was on!
Cat showed them how to make this great card with some burlap for texture.  She taught them how to make the flower from scalloped circles.
Sharon sent them to the blackboard for her make and take!
They learned how cool the new chalk markers are and used them on some of the Fancy Pants chalkboard tape.
Sally Lynn McDonald's make and take was inky fun with her beautiful stamp designs.
The girls had fun spraying the beautiful colors on their tag and stamping them.
Then it was time to make a tag with Nanci.
Everyone learned why we love Nanci's tag classes!  Fun techniques and beautiful tags!

Jodi and Jared had to head back to Utah, but before they did,
They set "Harry" free in the pasture behind the building.

WHERE THE WEST BEGINS

This is where the west begins...at least on National Scrapbook Day weekend!
There are lassos and wanted posters.
Buzz Lightyear and Jessie came with Kelly Maddux.
Cowboy hats, bandannas, and lights make everything so festive!
Texas flags and lots of red, white and blue.  We all know that Texas makes up MOST of the west!
Stick horses are numerous and SO, SO cute!
Of course there have to be bluebonnets!
Kathy has cute decor and is stylin' in her cowboy hat!
Cacti, saddles, cattle skulls...YEE HAW!!
Trees and root beer, or sasparillo as they used to call it!
Jared, from Fancy Pants, was excited about the tarantula that hitched a ride to the retreat with Joyce.  His wife Jodi isn't too excited about it.  LOL

More tales from our Wild West adventures tomorrow.
