FRIDAY FEATURE

Today, we are featuring Nanci Holtsford, our scrapbook designer extraordinaire.  Her classes at Cat's are always popular and over the top creative.  Nanci is a first grade teacher and is as good a teacher as she is a scrapbooker.  Students in her class are so very blessed to have a teacher who shares her love of learning with them and teaches them to enjoy learning as well.  When her students leave her class, they leave with so many amazing memories and experiences.

This is the mini-album I mentioned the other day using the new Kaisercraft "RockPool" line of paper.  Isn't that sea turtle the CUTEST thing!  This is one of those really cute fold-out albums she and Cat have had classes on previously.  They are so very cute and fun to make!
Nanci took one of these Fancy Pants brag books that are only $15.00 at the store and turned it into this:

The book isn't skinny and holds lots of photos.  Below are two expamples of some of the pages she has made in this album.

I love this album and think I may need to purchase one to use.  LOVE the final product.  Ann Laughlin used of these Fancy Pants Brag Books for an album for her Alaska trip and we all fell in love with it as well.

Don't forget about the sale at the store.  20% off of all Tim Holtz Sizzix dies and embossing folders and an extra 5% off for those who show Cat the blog on their phone or give her the code TIMHOLTZ5.

Remember to click on the link on the right side of the blog and become a follower of the blog.  There will be a giveaway when we reach 100 followers.  If you already follow the blog, recruit your fellow croppers to follow it as well.  Help us reach 100 so we can give away a prize!

  1. Awww...its my buddy! Yes her work is fabulous! Love what she and Ann both did with Fancy Pants Brag book. I have gotten two of them but haven't done anything yet. Thinking I may make my granddaughter Remi a book with it. I also love the little mini book Nanci made out of the Kaiser Craft! Well done!

  2. WOW Marilyn...you are up LATE! Thank you Marilyn for the kind words! Yes! I absolutely love teaching! On that note...This summer I took three of my former students to Kids Camp at Cat's! My little sweet hearts had a blast and created some outstanding projects! As for the Brag Book...incredible fun and easy to assemble for a stunning project that can go with you as you make memories! I am not a big 'journaler' but plan to 'jot' down a few notes each day on my summer trip to the OBX! Thank you, too, Valerie for your kind words of praise! AND...a great big THANKS to Cat not only for supporting me but continuing to provide all of us with such incredible choices and an endless supply of creative potential! :-D

  3. Nanci is awesome! And so very inspiring. I've learned so much from her in her classes (my favorite so far is the snowflake book but that baby album may end up my favorite yet!) and from cropping by her from time to time like when we made underwear Christmas cards. Ha, ha. Hmmm I thinking I may need one of those brag books for my Route 66 pics. And I second the big THANKS to Cat for an awesome store!!
