OPERATION WRITE HOME AND WOW WEDNESDAY

image description
Only ONE day until the Retreat! Are you going? Do you make cards? Allison will have a box to collect cards for Operation Write Home (www.operationwritehome.org). We are already past the Christmas deadline, so any holiday cards should be Love/Valentine's. We also need plenty of thank you, miss you, and thinking of you cards as well! Visit the OWH website  for the guidelines. The most important are: 4.25 x 5.5" cards, NO glitter, be sure that dark card bases are lined with white paper. Allison will take care of the rest by providing white card bases if you just make the card fronts as well as the OWH labels and the envelopes. Bring cards with you or make them there - you never know if Cat is going to provide a prize/incentive for cards you make! Let's see if we can fill TWO large flat rate boxes - wouldn't that be awesome to send to our deployed troops to write home on?!

The winner from last weeks' blog hop, chosen by random.org, was #24- Karen Hacknay, from Valerie's blog. Congratulations...contact Cat at the store to claim your prize!

We love seeing the work of our wonderful friends and customers and there is always inspiration to be found while visiting their projects. Would you like to participate, but do not have a blog? You do not have to have a blog to participate. You can find the directions on how to link up your creations that you have in a gallery here.

To be considered for the blog candy, you must post a project that you have created. WOW Wednesday must also be mentioned in your post and be sure to let your blog readers know that there is blog candy being given away to a random participant or commenter. .

I hope you will share your fabulous creations with us. If you didn't have time to create anything, I hope you will share some love on everyone else's creations--we all love that positive reinforcement
Just a reminder that I am not considered for the blog candy, but anyone who comments on my blog IS in the running. Thank you to everyone who participated last week, either by posting some work or commenting on the blogs.

  3. I was so busy this weekend with our family reunion and helping Kaylie with a school project that I didn't have time to create anything over the weekend. But look out, retreat, here I come! LOL
