During a recent check-up,
it was discovered that Ray's heart was
beating irregularly.
Not just a little bit
When they had him wear a monitor
for 24 hours, they discovered
that his heart actually was
stopping for 3-4 seconds at a time!
They tried to stop/restart his heart and
get it back into rhythm, but it didn't work.
So, Monday it was time for a
pacemaker!
Ray was anxious to let us all know
that he was doing fine after the surgery.
He had to spend the night in ICU,
which is routine.
He was released from the hospital
Tuesday morning and
couldn't wait to stop for breakfast at I-Hop!
Cat treated him to some
homemade banana pudding.
His heart might have skipped a beat over that!
Cat is very glad to have her "studmuffin" back home
and we are so glad he is home too!
Speedy recovery, Tomcat!
I got my dates/days all wrong. Ray actually had his surgery on Tuesday, the 6th, and came home on Wednesday, the 7th. Working on Wednesday totally messed up my days! LOL! Most important....Ray is doing ok!!!
