Cat couldn't wait to get her hands on 

the hummingbird coloring page from

Reminisce.

 

Cat created this beautiful page using

the Tim Holtz distress markers.

Then, she grabbed one of the

She combined one of the quotes with a canvas,

some of her FABULOUS photographs,

and one of Ray's Lazer cuts.

CLOSING EARLY TODAY

Like the setting sun those of us here at Cat's 

want to say our last good byes to our 

scrapbook family member Patrice Trickey. 

Services will be at the 

First United Methodist Church 

at 4pm Friday September 25th. 

 We will be closing the store at 3:15 

in order for all of us to be able to attend.

 Any of you that attended a retreat know that one of

 Patrice's biggest gifts to this store and our family 

was making certain each of you received a goody bag 

that would make a layout or two. 

 She was a special lady to all of us here at Cat's. 

We apologize for any inconvenience to our shoppers.

 Thank you for understanding and honoring our wishes 

to honor the memory of our dear friend.

RETREAT FUN

 

What a wonderful retreat we had

this weekend.

 

We all enjoyed the fabulous steaks from Mesquite Pit. 

 

Everyone had a blast creating the pumpkins for our cards

using Ken Oliver's Color Bursts.

Several birthdays were celebrated at the retreat

and Cat treated the birthday girls to these delicious berries.

Lots of YUMMY birthday cake was enjoyed by all.

 

 PJ raids were a  big hit and lots of fun.

 We were all given a variety of Simple Stories papers

to use for a 2 page layout.

These two ladies' creations were voted the best!

The next retreat is November 12-15th.

REST IN PEACE, SWEET PATRICE

It is with great sadness that I tell you we have lost our sweet friend Patrice.

 She has been fighting cancer for over 6 1/2 years and it finally got the best of her. She has been a major player in our store famliy since the begining and will be greatly missed. She always joked that she "came with the store" when Cat bought it.

Well known at the retreats for her bread pudding and for her 

detailed efforts to put together our goodie bags for events. 

She loved making sure everybody got things in their bags

 that would match and make beautiful pages. 

She danced with the Elvis Tribute Artist at the retreats and

 now she is dancing down the streets of heaven with the real Elvis.

We love and miss you
