It is time for the prompts for

WEEK 23

(hard to believe the year is

almost half over!).

 

These are the prompts for this week.

Have lots of fun taking photos.

Sunday's ought to be fun...

if your memory is like mine, 

you could take photos of just about anything!

Grab that camera and

start snapping those photos!

It is time for another

Monday is easy:

We are all LUCKY that so many

were willing to give all

so that we might live free.

That is what Memorial Day is all about.

Of course, we are also

lucky when our families gather together

on Memorial Day.

We are lucky in so many ways.

CAT'S SKETCH FEVER

 

Cat has created another set of sketches for us this week.

Love the swirls coming out from behind the photo!

Wait.....is that a tornado???  LOL!

 And the other sketch....

Love the die cut cards - another 

way to use those die cut cards and stickers

from your collection.

You could also use flowers, ephemera,

small die cuts from your die cut machine...

the possibilities are

ENDLESS!

Plus, love the clusters of circles/embellishments

on these two sketches.

ALL IS WELL AT CAT'S!

There were lots of tornadoes in North Texas

Tuesday night, including some

in and around Mineral Wells. 
However......

All that was needed at the store was 

sweeping up the mulch that was displaced

by the rain!

YEAH!!!

Cat and Ray live in the Bridgeport/Runaway Bay area,
but thankfully were spared from the
damage that many in that area suffered.

Cat took this gorgeous photo of a double rainbow
out at their place the morning after the storms.
We are so thankful that there have
been no reported injuries in Mineral Wells.
It could have been so much worse.

TIM HOLTZ PORTFOLIO

Katina attended the crop on Saturday and

had not scrapbooked in TWO YEARS!!!

You would never know by looking at the fabulous job

she did on the Tim Holtz portfolio she "pimped out".

We all fell in love with the button heart she

created on the front of the portfolio.

She used a wonderful combination of products on 

the portfolio. 

Check out the glassine bags on the left.

LOVE those!

She combined Kaisercraft's "Mix and Match"

with My Minds Eye "Lost and Found"

collections beautifully on this portfolio.

 

We certainly hope that it isn't another two

years before Katina is able to scrapbook again.

We all had a wonderful time on Saturday and

were glad that everyone made it home before the

storms hit!

in the Photo A Day challenge.

Cat is working on getting the kits put

For those of you that have seen the news about damage

in downtown Mineral Wells from a storm last night.

The store didn't receive any damage, thankfully.

Lots of Mineral Wells residents (and surrounding communities)

received roof and tree damage.

I believe there were a couple of mobile homes destroyed

in the community near where I live.

I haven't heard reports of any injuries or deaths,

so we were very fortunate in that regards.

This seems to be an extremely 

stormy spring, so keep your eye on the radar

and stay safe!

JUNE FUN AT CAT'S

June 6th and 20th will

be the first and third Saturday crops.

You never know what will happen at a crop.

There is always lots of craziness and

CREATIVITY!

June 13th is a lucky day at Cat's!

Lucky for those who are taking Nanci's tag class!

If you haven't taken one of these fabulous

classes, it's not too late to sign up.

You, too, can be lucky on June 13th!

 So, did you miss out on Lance's window class at NSD?

Or, were you not even at NSD?

No worries!

June 20th is your LUCKY DAY!!!!

Due to popular demand,

Cat is offering you a chance to create your own 

individual window masterpiece.

Bring your window

 (they can be purchased from Mark Witschorke downtown if you don't already have one) 

and we will decorate it.

 Cat will get the chipboard letters from Lance Anderson 

for your kits that were used in the class at the retreat.  

Decide on your theme and get your pics together

 so you will know what direction to head . 

 Cat will have a supply kit filled with goodies for each of you to add to your windows. 

 Bring any keepsakes or other ephemera you want to add. 

Cat will also have a variety of colors of paint to be used on letters, etc.

We will start at 10:30 and roll thru the day until 5pm
This will be FUN. 

We can't wait to see the finished products.
