SUNDAY INSPIRATION

We are always inspired by Cat's creativity and this mini album is no exception.  Cat made this album using the "piano hinge" technique that she taught at the September retreat.  The paper collection she used for this album is "Happy Haunting" by Carta Bella.  There are lots of textural accents of burlap in the album, which adds a lot of visual interest. By gluing some of the pages together, Cat created pockets in which she could put tags which then hold even more photos!  I know that one of the things that used to prevent me from making mini albums was their limited capacity.  However, we have since learned so many techniques (cascades, accordians, pockets) where we can add more photos that it is no longer a problem.  If a mini album doesn't hold as many photos as we need, we can always add one of those techniques and increase its capacity by as much as we need!  LOVE that!
Page 1 of the album, complete with its own warning!  LOL!
The next two pages of the album - love this paper collection!  The page on the right is one of the pages that Cat glued together to make a pocket.
The next two pages - loving the burlap accents!
Don't you love the notch cut out of the pocket on this one?!  Plus, Cat "free-handed" the branches that the owl (sticker) is sitting on.
The next two pages with more tags.
More lovely pages - I love how the "dotted swiss" cardstock by Bazzill adds a touch of texture to your pages!
Another pocket on a page, which gives you room for extra photos.  Love the burlap fringe decorating the pocket!
And the back cover of this cute mini album.  I'm not sure how many photos it holds, but it holds quite a few spooky pictures.
Come by the store and pick up your favorite Halloween collection so that you can make one of these cute mini albums.
