RETREAT FUN

 

What a wonderful retreat we had

this weekend.

 

We all enjoyed the fabulous steaks from Mesquite Pit. 

 

Everyone had a blast creating the pumpkins for our cards

using Ken Oliver's Color Bursts.

Several birthdays were celebrated at the retreat

and Cat treated the birthday girls to these delicious berries.

Lots of YUMMY birthday cake was enjoyed by all.

 

 PJ raids were a  big hit and lots of fun.

 We were all given a variety of Simple Stories papers

to use for a 2 page layout.

These two ladies' creations were voted the best!

The next retreat is November 12-15th.

SIMPLY SUNDAY

 

Grab a cup of coffee and get ready for a simply wonderful line-up of new product. I didn't think this arrived on Friday, but it did....at 5:00 p.m.!!!  UPS was running very late (it's usually at the store around noon!), but they delivered boxes full of SIMPLY fabulous SIMPLE STORIES goodies!  Morgan and Cat hustled and got it priced so everyone could dig in on Saturday! 

First up is "Smarty Pants" a wonderful school collection by Simple Stories.

This is one of my favorite pieces of paper from this collection.  I love the bulletin board, but also love that map---it would be great for a travel layout!

Simple Stories also has a collection of paper that call "Simpy Basics" and it is matching very subtly patterned cardstock that coordinates perfectly with their beautiful patterned papers.

These fantastic bingo papers are included in the "Simply Basics" pack or are available separately.  I love to cut these cards apart and have them peeking out from behind a photo.

So, did you visit the mouse (aka Disney World or Disney Land) this summer?  Simple stories has really hit the mark with this fantastic "Say Cheese" lineup.  Without infringing on the copyrighted images, they have created a wonderful set of products for you to preserve your Disney memories.

The celebration has begun....Cat's turns 9 this month and we will celebrate ALL MONTH LONG!!!  We had a blast at the crop this past Saturday and the birthday mini-retreat is coming up in less than two weeks!

These are the divided page protectors in a variety of configurations.  

The binders come in two sizes:  12 x 12 and 6 x 8.  The faux leather albums are new.  The last Simple Stories albums flew out of the store, so don't delay....we don't want you to miss out!

Cat is at the Craft and Hobby Association (CHA) show and the manufacturers are sharing sneak peeks of their new product.  So, I thought I would share some of these sneak peeks with you. Just a reminder:

does not mean they are all going to be ordered for the store.  

The store is not big enough to hold EVERYTHING that

is offered, so Cat does her best to order what the majority

of her customers want.
