WOW....IT'S TIME FOR MEOW WOW!!!!

This weekend it is time for MEOW WOW at
Cat Mew!!!!
Nanci will be teaching an all day,
 technique driven,
outta the box
and over the top creative event.
You will learn to use the latest in mixed media
and altered art that works for your layouts
 as well as home decor.
 Everything from basic stamping to
Tim Holtz style tags with paint,
 inks,
distressing
and whatever we come up with.
Just in time for this mixed media class, we have
some wonderful new product in the store.
Pictured above are the beautiful spray mists from Art Anthology.

Worried about getting mists on other things while spraying your project?
This HUGE non stick craft mat, will cover your whole table and
protect everything from getting inks splattered on them.
Check out all of the beautiful colors that are available
in the dimensional paints!
Cat REALLY loves these colors!!
Who would have thunk it!!!  LOL!
With all of these cool new products, you definitely
MUST get a tool kit to help you use them.
So, come on out to the store for some wonderful mixed media fun!!!

BACK TO THE NOT SO BASICS

Yesterday it was time for the "Back to Basics" class at "Cat Mew".
There were some new ladies & some returning ladies!
There was lots of fun & idea sharing going on all day long.
I think you'll agree that Cat's samples for the class were
"Not so Basic"!
She wanted to start the ladies off
WITH A BANG!
Don't you love the pictures coming out of that pocket!!!
Beautiful facing page.
I just want to pinch those cheeks!
Love the page design and the twine frame around the photo.
Facing page with great photo layout and border.
Love the chevron border and, of course, these Elvis photos
bring back fun memories of the NSD retreat!
More of that chevron border I love plus
LOVE how the pictures are tucked behind the border a little.

Cat did a FABULOUS job on these layouts and
got these ladies off to such a wonderful start.
They went home with some great layouts and
learned lots of techniques to use as they continue to
SCRAPBOOK.
