INTO THE WILD INSPIRATION

Cat got into the new Kaisercraft

"Into the Wild" collection

and created some fabulous layouts

of our NSD 2014 retreat.

Our theme was 

"It's a Jungle out There"

so this collection is "purrfect" for it! 

 

This page shows the tables and

then how some were decorated.

I love this particular page from the collection--

that zebra is "to die for"!

 This was another of my favorite

pages from the collection. 

 Love the lion roaring in  the lower right hand corner!

Loved the decorated vehicle!

Everyone comes to the retreat to have a great time!

 

This page features the pinatas that

Patrice created for us each year.

Love how Cat used the die cut chevrons

as arrows.

The facing page features the other two

pinatas and then everyone moving

in for the scrapbook goodies from the pinatas. 

It was pretty "wild"!!!

That burlap goes perfectly with this paper!

SCRAP YARD INSPIRATION

 

 This weekend, Cat grabbed some photos of 

Ray and their grandson, Jake.

Then she added in her creativity and some of

Kaisercraft's "Scrap Yard" and

created this great layout.

 

These photos are priceless and look

great on this paper.

Grandpa is showing Jake how it's done!

On the subject of Ray, Cat had this great news to share:

Dr. Reddy has given Ray the seal of approval on his pacemaker! 

Don't have to go back for 3 months. 

We are so thankful that Ray went for

his checkup a few weeks ago 

and that Dr. Hisel heard the irregularity

in his heartbeat.  

We tend to skip checkups, but

this should be a lesson to us all about

how important they can be.

Speaking of checkups:

 Did you even know there was such a day?

It was yesterday.

The purpose is to remind women to go

for their mammograms.

So, even if you missed the holiday,

here is your reminder:

If you haven't had your mammogram done

yet, call and schedule one.

 The beautiful "Into the Wild" collection from 

Kaisercraft has arrived!

This is pretty much the most beautiful 

zoo/safari collection I have seen in years.

The colors and patterns are fairly muted.

Check out the elephant in the lower right hand corner

of the green paper.  GORGEOUS!
There are so many beautiful designs in this collection.

This lion is ROARING his approval!

Plus there is a circle die cut paper.

Cardstock stickers and a collection of die cuts

to embellish your pages.

Here is a close up of the laser die cut paper.

It is a very tribal pattern and will look great

on your layout!

IT'S ENCHANTING!!!

Check out this enchanting collection from BoBunny,

"Enchanted Harvest".

This was part of the "elephant dung" 

aka new product,

at the retreat a couple of weeks ago.

 Needless to say, it was quite popular.

It has fairies, seed packets, butterflies,

words, leaves....everything beautiful!

 There was just a little left and it is 

at the store calling your name!

 

Cat used some of it to create this gorgeous

two page layout.  Check out how well the

butterflies in her photos match the ones on the paper.

It is uncanny how well the paper

matches these photos.

Absolutely stunning!

Check out Tim Holtz's new Christmas stamps.

These are the handwritten sentiment stamps.

These are one of my favorites.

I love these script background stamps.

They add so much interest to anything

you add them to.

These snowflakes are bigger than his original

snowflake set.

CHRISTMAS COLLECTIONS ARE HERE

The color scheme is totally different from

the usual red and green.

This one is predominately blue and white.

Cat said that it reminded her of the old

Rudolph movies.
