CHRISTMAS GREETINGS

Christmas is just around the corner.

Whether you send out hand crafted cards
or store bought cards, let's send one
to a wounded soldier.
We could flood our soldiers
with Christmas greetings and
hopefully brighten their holidays.
I did some checking and you can send
it to this address:
A Recovering American Soldier
c/o Walter Reed National Military Medical Center
8901 Rockville Pike
 Bethesda, MD 20889

This is the address for the NEW Walter Reed Hospital.
Our soldiers make such sacrifices for our freedom
and the soldiers at the hospital are
away from home, recovering from
injuries.
Let's salute them with our love
and Christmas greetings.

TEMPTING TUESDAY

We got boxes full of Kaisercraft goodness at the store yesterday.  Check out this amazing Christmas collection.  Anna O'Day came by and picked some of this up and I might have had to get some of it too!
Kaisercraft has also come out with this cool line that is full of all kind of visual textures, without the bulk.  These will add so much to your layouts.
This is the rest of the "Base" collection from Kaisercraft.  There is sand, lace wicker - beautiful for that beach wedding!
Chimney Advent Calendar
These chimney advent calendars came in as well.  It is the wooden kit and you purchase the paper from their beautiful Christmas collection to cover it with.  LOVE this!  We only got a few of these in, so get yours now!

WOW, THE HOLIDAYS ARE UPON US!

It is almost Thanksgiving and before we know it,
we will be untangling the Christmas lights and decking the halls!
Since this is such a busy time of year, we are going to suspend WOW Wednesday until the first of the year.
HOWEVER.....
When you get your Christmas cards made, take a photograph before you send them all out.
Wednesday, January 1, 2014, we are going to have a special blog hop where we share the Christmas cards we made.  I can't wait to see them all!

Join us on Saturday, December 7th, for our Christmas Open House.
Join us for some mini-classes, grab & go kits with instructions, more involved classes like banners & snowflakes, snack foods, prizes and lots of all out fun for the holidays.
Wouldn't you (or someone on your Christmas list) love to have some of these snowflakes?  I'm definitely signing up for this class!
This is a great way to get some Christmas gifts and decor made for the holidays.
You can sign up for classes as Cat gets them posted.
There will also be a Christmas Bazaar in the mall where you can shop for Christmas gifts as well.

SUNDAY INSPIRATION

Are you ready for the holiday season?  It is just around the corner.  You can get a head start on scrapbooking your holiday photos by making this "Unfolding Christmas" album on Saturday, November 23.  There is room for 100 photos or more in this album, so you could put several years worth of photos in it.  Of course, if you take TONS of photos, you would have room for quite a few of them in this album.  The cost of this album is $65 and the class takes all day with some homework to complete at home.  The deadline for signing up for the class is Wednesday, November 20th, so that we have time to make everyone a kit.  The class must be prepaid to reserve your spot.
This is the cover of the album, using Graphic 45 and Authentique papers.
When you open the album, you have this page with room for a 5 x 7 photo and some smaller ones on the flaps.
This is revealed when you "turn" that page, featuring another spot for a 5 x 7 photo.  There are two mini albums peeking out of a pocket on the right.
The two mini albums that were peeking out of the pocket.
Turn that page and you have room for two 4 x 4 photos.  On the right you see two more mini albums peeking out.
These are the two mini albums that were peeking out.
Open up the flap and it reveals some fold-out photo mats.
Open the other flap and there are more fold-outs and photo mats.
Those are tags in that pocket on the right and then a cascade album above the car.
As you start opening up the other side of the album, you have these photo mats and another set of tags in a pocket.
Open up one of the flaps and you have these photo mats.
Another flap opens and there are more fold-out photo mats.  Love those "hinge" stickers.
Another cascade album for you to put lots of photos in.
In the center of the album are 4 giant pockets
that hold these 4 giant tags where you can put 5 x 7 photos or several 4 x 6 photos.
You can go back and add more embellishments throughout this album.  Because of the time constraints, embellishments are limited.

Come join us while we "unfold" Christmas!
