FABULOUS FRIDAY

Tomorrow will be another CAT-TASTIC CRAFTY CATURDAY at the store filled with  fabulous classes taught by Sandy Trefger and Nanci Holtsford.
 
 First up (from 10:00 - 12:00) is this adorable Boo Bitty Album class taught by Sandy Trefger.  You make this adorable album using coin envelopes and scrapbook paper.  If you are taking the class, you need to bring the following supplies:

• Adhesive – tape runner, score tape (narrow), wet glue 

• Paper Trimmer
• Scissors
• Ruler
• Scoreboard or Score Blade on Trimmer
• Circle Punches 1” and 3/4" (optional)
• Tiny Attacher & Staples (optional)
• Hole Punch or Crop-a-dile (optional)
• Corner Rounder, Slant or other Decorative Corner Punches (Optional)
• Foam Dots (optional)
• Foam Applicator 
• Distress Inks in Halloween colors such as Black Soot, Spiced Marmalade and Dusty Concord
• Paper Distress Tool (optional)
• Stickles in Halloween colors (optional)
After a quick lunch, we will start making some wonderful tags with Nanci at 1:00 p.m.  We will create one Halloween tag and two Christmas tags.  I can't wait to make this tag using one of the new stencils by Tim Holtz!   Nanci has provided us with a supply list for the tag class.

Bring your regular class kit and the following items:
  • Glossy Accents
  • Tiny Attacher
  • Edge Distressing Tool
  • Brayer
  • Cirque Alphabet from Idea-ology Tim Holtz
  • Tim Holtz stencils...Rays
  • TH vintage Christmas ornament Stamps (of course I will have mine to share)
  • Heirloom mist
  • Perfect pearls mist
  • Ephemera or things(pearls, crystals etc) to hang on tag
  • Inks:
  • Antique Linen
  • Purples
  • Greens (peeled paint along with others)
  • Reds
  • Peacock
  • Yellow
  • Oranges
  • Browns...vintage, walnut, gathered twigs
  • Black Archival black
  • Broken China &/or Tumbled Glass
  • Salty ocean
This is the other Christmas tag we will make - isn't it beautiful!?  I can't wait to see what techniques Nanci is going to teach us while we make these great tags.
