for us this week.

I always love sketches involving circles,

although you could swap out 

other shapes for the circles!

which is great since we tend to 

take LOTS of photos!

FUN TIMES AT THE HALLOWEEN CROP

We came dressed for fun and

boy did we have FUN!

Even the food was dressed up for fun.

 

Joyce dressed up as a minion

and won the costume contest.

Vickie dressed up as an adorable Cat in the Hat

and placed second in the contest.

At 8:30 we were off to the Ghost Walk.

Over 200 people went on the ghost walk.

After all, it was the perfect activity 

for Halloween!

Even grandma went on the walk....

oh wait, that's Sharon!  LOL!

Race horse Nanci, aka Nellie, 

brought down the house during

the ghost walk, quite by accident!

Yes, the crazy cat lady (aka Cat)

knows how to put together a fun 

Halloween for us.

We had a blast!

IT WAS TAG-TASTIC!

 

Check out one of the FIVE

beautiful tags we made in 

Nanci's tag class on Saturday!

 

We inked, embossed,

stenciled, and "stickled". 

Check out how beautiful this holly is,

especially after you add FOUR

colors of stickles!

I don't have the patience for stickles

since I usually end up messing them up

while waiting for them to dry!

However, Nanci's use of them on the

tags Saturday convinced me to 

buy 12 more bottles of them. YIKES!!!

She is making a believer out of me!

Our "newbie" enjoyed the class

so much that she is looking forward

to the next one!

 

How can you not enjoy a class when you are creating

tags like this?!

 

We created two tags that 

could be used for greeting cards.

Even the envelopes were included!

Nanci has started using a chalkboard

to list the colors of ink that we are using

on our tag.

Yes, we ask that question OVER and OVER again!

If you check the pole out behind her,

above the "Beware" sign,

she has displayed the two tags we are working on.

 

The next tag class is

NOVEMBER 21st.

The date is changed due to the retreat.

Call ahead to reserve your spot.

Nanci has to make kits of each tag

for every attendee, so she needs

to know ahead of time if you are coming.

 The cost is $40 and you will

make 5 tags.

A light snack is provided and the class

lasts from 11:00 am to 4:00 p.m.

FRIDAY FUN

 

This is one of the reasons we had the benefit crop on October 3rd.

Look at that sweet face!

 Here is little Thomas doing his walk at the Juvenile diabetes walk.

He is the grandson of one of Cat's and Sharon's

dear friends, and he has Juvenile Diabetes.

  His team raised over $10K and we helped a bit ladies. 

This little guy, Maddie and so many more like them,

 hopefully will benefit from research with this disease.

 

And now, on a lighter note:

 

 Cat claims to know who to call....LOL!

 We wouldn't know anyone who does this,

would we???

 

Since we buy so much paper 

and so many art supplies, 

we have this dilemma:
